Single server spotlight

Welcome to your dashboard! This is the driving seat for deep diving into a selected SQL Server and your starting point for diagnosing performance problems.

Connect to your SQL Server and the dashboard immediately shows if the SQL Server and SQL Agent services are running and when they were last started.

You'll also get a great view of server activity. See how many users are connected and how many processes are running and whether there's any problems with blocked transactions.

We're sure you'll love the list of failed jobs! Or rather, you'll love the ability to see which ones didn't run and fix them!

Dashboard
The Enterprise View Services Tab Keep critical services running

A production environment demands that SQL Server is kept running and high-availability is vital. The services tab shows you the status of all the services in your enterprise.

No doubt you'll want to keep an eye on SQL Agent too, especially if you have critical maintenance or performance jobs scheduled to run.

Got a data warehouse to support? No worries, you can see if Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services are installed and running too.

Easy color-coding draws your eye to stopped services so you can spot problems at a glance.
Check your SQL Server performance

We can't talk about performance without mentioning your hardware. Depending on how your SQL Servers get used, you'll find demands on the hardware differ.

An OLTP system will be disk intensive, so you'll want to keep an eye on your disk I/O usage. Some databases may be hitting it more heavily than others, so you may want to think about moving them to other servers.

You can monitor disk I/O, CPU and memory usage levels by watching the Performance tab. This will show you your top ten most resource-hungry databases in real time.
